Deliveries & Shipping

DELIVERY NOTIFICATIONS

You will receive an email at the address you have specified when your order has been despatched. This notification will show your itemised order, payment method and delivery address. Please check through these details and notify us of any issues at the earliest opportunity to support@valourband.com.

DELIVERY TIMESCALES

Orders will be processed and despatched within 2-3 working days.  Due to the highly bespoke nature of the product, it is not possible to create products in a shorter timescale.

Once processed, orders will be despatched using the Royal Mail First Class Signed service.  Orders despatched before midday typically arrive the following day (less Sundays and Bank Holidays).

Valour Bands Ltd do not operate order fulfilment on bank and public holidays. Any orders placed on bank and public holidays will be processed on the next day of business.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES

Orders will be processed and despatched within 2-3 working days.  Due to the highly bespoke nature of the product, it is not possible to create products in a shorter timescale.

International delivery is generally between 5 – 20 working days, depending on distance to recipient. Customs charges for delivery to countries outside the EU may apply and fall with the recipient.

POSTAL OPTIONS

Delivery charges are calculated automatically on the checkout page once your delivery address is confirmed. We only offer flat rates of shipping to keep things simple. Shipping charges are passed directly to our customers with zero mark up and are constantly review delivery options to ensure the best deals are made available.

SHIPPING

Shipping within the UK is via Royal Mail and is fixed at £4.50 or FREE when you spend over £200. This is applied automatically at the checkout.

UK destinations include England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Channel Islands. Within the UK all orders are sent out with Royal Mail.

Deliveries to the Highlands and Northern Ireland may take up to 3 days.

EUROPEAN ORDERS

European Orders are delivered via Royal Mail Tracked and Signed service and is fixed at £8.70. This should normally take between 5 and 10 working days from the point of despatch. It is an Airmail Service.

Important Information:

Delays can occur in customs and such delays are outside of our control. Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches its destination country.

Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient. It is against our policy to mark any orders as ‘gifts’ or with a lower value.

REST OF WORLD ORDERS

Outside of Europe orders are delivered via Royal Mail Tracked and Signed service and is fixed at £10.05. This should normally take between 10 and 20 working days from the point of dispatch. It is an Airmail Service.

Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient. It is against our policy to mark any orders as ‘gifts’ or with a lower value.

Orders are dispatched once we’ve confirmed payment. This is typically within 5 – 7 days.

Important note to customers outside of the EU:

If you are returning items from outside the EU you MUST mark them very clearly as Returned Goods. If they are labeled incorrectly we are unable to refund you any costs incurred to release them.

SIGNATURE UPON DELIVERY, MISSED DELIVERIES AND DENIAL OF RECEIPT

Our orders require a signature upon delivery. Parcels shipped on this basis cannot be left without signatures. If you miss the delivery person, a card will be left to give you instructions to either arrange a redelivery or to collect it from your local sorting office / delivery depot.

If for any reason the item is returned to us (e.g. incorrect address specified, item not called for), then we will inform you immediately by email as soon as the item is received. From this point forth, you will be given a choice whether you wish us to re despatch the item or for you to cancel the order. If further to despatch it is undelivered again, we reserve the right to charge delivery charges for subsequent deliveries. Please note that for items that were undelivered through fault of the consumer and a refund is requested, we reserve the right to deduct our outwardly shipping fees from the refund total.

In the case of a parcel being signed for and a delivery confirmation being available on the courier’s website, if the customer denies receiving the package, this is called a ‘Denial of Receipt’. Under these circumstances, we must contact the Royal Mail to confirm the delivery details, who will in turn contact the customer to ask for written documentation to be completed to confirm that the parcel has not been received. These circumstances must be mediated by the delivery service and we cannot take action until it has been confirmed whether or not the parcel was received by the customer.

INSPECTION UPON DELIVERY

When receiving your order you should inspect the packaging to ensure that it has not been tampered with in any way. If it does appear to be tampered with, you should refuse delivery.

MISSING ITEMS

In the instance where deliveries have not been made as expected and no card has been left, please contact us directly at support@valourband.com. We will endeavour to understand where the issue lies and effect delivery as soon as possible.
